The Dukes Head in Crawley Down, really is a pub for people with great taste.

Offering the perfect destination to escape reality for an hour or two, catch up with friends, or indulge in a delicious selection of freshly prepared dishes that are sure to always hit the spot, it’s safe to say that The Dukes Head has got it all.

Perfect for lunch, dinner, and drinks, all of our menus have been prepared by our superbly talents chefs, using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. The Dukes Head is also a great place for a scrumptious Sunday roast or tempting dessert.

There is plenty of car parking available on site and we welcome your little ones too, meaning this stylish pub, bar and restaurant is also a great place for lots of family fun.

Located in the small village of Crawley Down, The Dukes Head is easily accessible by road, rail, and bus. 

Conveniently located in close proximity to the M25, the village is easy to find by road. Close to East Grinstead, The Dukes Head is a 10-minute drive from Three Bridges train station. East Grinstead station is also close by.

For those travelling from further afield, we’re also just an eight minute drive from Gatwick Airport.

Keeping Busy in Crawley Down

The Dukes Head is nearby a whole host of things to see, do, and experience, including cultural attractions, natural sights, and entertainment activities.

The Worth Way, which was formally the old railway track running on the Three Bridges to Tunbridge Wells Central Line, is now a country park offering a haven for wildlife and a great trail for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders. The Dukes Head makes the perfect stop off point to enjoy some much-needed refreshment whilst you explore the great outdoors.

If you’re looking for family friendly activities in the area, Tulleys Farm boasts a whole host of attractions as well as seasonal events including the Maize Maze and Fun Park, an Animal Patch, Tea Rooms, Victorian Garden, and more. Once you’ve finished exploring, make sure you check out our children’s menu – your little ones will love it!

Go Ape Crawley, The British Wildlife Centre, Ashdown Llama Farm, and the National Cat Centre are also close by, whilst the many sights and sounds of central London are also easily accessible.
